Vintage WWII Stationary Packet - "Keep 'Em Smilin'" - Navy Series - 1942
New, never used. Still in mint condition.
Our "boys over there" had a tough job to do, and maintaining their morale under fire was difficult. One of the ways their loved ones on the home front helped was to send them letters. It made a big difference and helped keep them going.
This was a prepackaged set of envelopes and stationary with a humorous tone to make them smile when there was very little to smile about. It's a fascinating piece of American history than most of us never knew existed.
