    The Central Pacific Railroad locomotive No. 113 “Falcon” at Argenta, Nevada.  March 1, 1869.
    Also note the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) engineer Jacob Blickensderfer (left) and CPRR engineer Lewis Metzler Clement (right) sitting on its pilot inspecting the track as members of the U.S. Special Pacific Railroad Commission. Falcon locomotive was built by Danforth Locomotive Works, Paterson, NJ (4-4-0, 4.8' drivers, 15" cylinders, 22" stroke).
